My name is Covadonga. I am a social entrepreneur, photographer, graduate in communication born in Spain.
Coming back from United State where I was part of the Disney Collage Program learning the importance of leadership and hard working. Before moving to Orlando I lived in New York where I did the MFA in Design for Social Innovation at the SVA. There we learned to scale the impact of research, mapping, game theory, informal systems and economies, metrics and data visualization.
I'm looking for work that matters. I would like to join a company which practices collaborative leadership & innovation with integrity throughout and one which provides me with the opportunity to put into practice everything I learnt during my training period and my trips. I feel that I have learnt so much about the industry through both experiences; allowing me to grow both in a personal and in a professional way.
I'm very interested in social issues; I believe that changing the world starts with education; we have to be able to teach a new generation that this change is possible. We have some habits that might be difficult to change. However, new generations are still open-minded, so we have the possibility of educating them to believe that things can be different. They must believe that change is not only necessary, but possible. Effective communication in education is the way to introduce these ideas.
I don’t remember when was the first time I took a photograph, whenever I need it I had a camara in my hands. I firmly believe that a picture can say more than thousand words and when that happens, something changes inside us. (A picture is worth a thousand words)
